ONEPLUS! Why do you move so fast!? When I started this article it was supposed to be about the leaked color choices. Because they look so dope. Especially that "GLOW" color. Like say word. This is what you doing to people in 2020. When they can't afford new phones? Making them choose between rent and buying a dope ass phone!? Because lets be real, the "Green" and the "Glow" color options of the OnePlus 8 make the S20 lineup looked basic AF! Like if "Glow" was a red carpet look, then the S20 is a potato sack. And that's just real!
Now I can't get over the fact that they appear to be doing away with the popup selfie camera, which I loved. It made for conversation and was an awesome party trick. And I'm a dazzler. I love to dazzle. And I'm not a fan of the hole-punch. It's pretty stupid looking. But hey! You can't please all the people, all the time.
So I was going to really go in on the design and the leaked specs, but forget about it! Because when I awoke this morning I took a look at my twitter feed and BAM! OnePlus announced the reveal date of the upcoming device. The phone drops April 14th during an online live stream. (Thanks Covid - 19) That said though, I don't really care how they reveal it. As long as I get to see that sweet, sweet OnePlus lineup that will showcase a series of 5G devices. Continuing to solidifying their place in the market. They'll also be stealing Samsung's thunder with a 120Hz display phone.
I'm not going to lie though. I wish they had spaced out their launch a bit more. I JUST got the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. In fact I won it from a contest held by T-Mobile. And I love the design. 12 GB of Ram. 256 GB of Storage. And 5G. I mean...how can I part ways with this phone? Well the OnePlus 8 might be the answer. And the belief is that two devices are going to be announced at the event; the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro (which DUH! I'd be getting if I was getting any).
